CJ HOUSE
Brief: Design proposal for a new house
Location: Brisbane, Qld, Australia
Client: Private
Stage: Concept design
Date: 2005
The house is organised around and above an existing swimming pool. The traditional bedrooms are designed to be autonomous studios while being connectable with the principle internal and external spaces (living area, kitchen, swimming pool & verandah). Different operable screens can generate wide open or intimate spaces. The house extends over the entire site to allow for a wide range of in-between spaces and views.
